2024 CHALLENGE OF CHAMPIONS

Gold Coast Horse Shows

This year CRHA will be producing two horse shows.  We will have a show 5/28-6/2 at LAEC and we will be hosting The Challenge 10/23-10/27 also at the LAEC.

We have a new series of shows at Hansen Dam that is being approved by CRHA.  Marnye Langer is producing the Gold Coast Series.  In addition to reining, she is offering a full range of ranch riding classes.  She will be offering western classes on the following dates:  2/23-2/25; 4/19-4/21; 5/17-5/19; 6/7-6/9; 7/5-7/7; 8/2-8/4; 8/30-9/1; 10/4-10/6 and 11/8-11/10.  Marnye will have year end awards for the Gold Coast Series.  More details can be found on her website www.goldcoasthorseshows.com

CRHA members that show at The Gold Coast Series Shows and the June show can earn a ticket to compete in the CRHA Challenge of Champions.  The top three people in each of the CRHA classes at any of these shows will qualify for the Challenge of Champions.  The Challenge of Champions classes will be held at the Challenge in October.  Each rider/horse can only qualify once, so if the same person (in Non-pro, green, youth and rookie classes) or horse (in open classes) wins more than one time in any given class the next placing person/horse will qualify.

To be eligible, the owner and rider must be CRHA members (You must be a member by the end of the show where you want your points to count).  We will be offering the program in the following CRHA classes: Non-Pro, Intermediate Non-Pro, Limited Non-Pro, Primetime Non-Pro, Green As Grass, Rookie 1, Rookie 2, Primetime Rookie, Youth 13 & Under, Youth 14-18, Novice Horse Non-Pro, Novice Horse Open, Open, and Limited Open. There is no minimum or maximum number of shows needed to qualify.

We will be giving awards to the top five placings in the Challenge of Champion classes.
