About the CRHA

Our Mission

The California Reining Horse Association was established in 1993. We have been serving reiners in Southern California for nearly thirty years! Our mission is to advance the sport of reining with dedication and passion. We seek to build community by hosting shows and bringing reiners together for fun events and healthy competition.

Accomplishing our mission means you, our members, have more opportunities to show, learn, and earn points and awards.

Shows & Awards

We hold three shows each year. The Sweetheart Reining in February, the Hollywood Charity Show (formerly Reiner Shine) in May, and The Challenge in October. Detailed information on these shows can be found on our Events page.

As members of CRHA, you can compete for year-end awards as well. To qualify, simply show in at least two CRHA shows and you’ll be in the running for some amazing buckles and prizes.

Important: Make sure the rider and owner are current members!

CRHA Leadership

The CRHA is managed by an Executive Board and Board of Directors. These dedicated individuals are focused on moving the industry forward and creating opportunities for reining to prosper in our region and beyond.
